Shaky Hands

I guess summer is supposed to start this weekend? Here’s a song called Summer’s Life to mark the occasion. It’s by The Shaky Hands, who are from Portland, and when Portland bands sing about summer you should listen, because it only lasts a coupla days up there.

Vivre sa vie

My hands have wounds in three places at the moment. One is a burn from a hot pot of shabu-shabu, one is a bite from a puppy, and the third is a small cut I incurred opening a bottle of beer with a cigarette lighter.

My Teenage Stride

My Teenage Stride at YouTube

Ok ok ok, I’ll write something soon. Until then, enjoy this video by one of my new favorite bands, My Teenage Stride. They’re supposedly from the present and America, but they sound like they’re from the 80s and London. Although not so much in this video. Anyway, you can check out more of their music at their homepage.

See you real soon.

Fixies

watch the video

Most people, when I tell them I ride a fixie, the first thing out of their mouth is, “That doesn’t sound fun at all…” Next time the subject comes up, I’ll just point them to this video of fixie riders in San Francisco. [via Boing Boing]
