Feaverish

This video for The Spinto Band’s Oh Mandy looks like it took a lot of work.

I have this red t-shirt that, for a variety of reasons (it’s slightly too big, the logo raises concerns with my boss as to my commitment to the noble field of copyright research, etc.), I only wear when I’m riding my bike.

It’s ill-suited to that purpose, though, as it acts as an irresistible attractant for large, flying, stinger-bearing insects. Every time I wear this shirt huge bugs fly at my head and torso as though possessed. Some lodge themselves in the vents of my helmet (thank jebus for my impenetrable mane!) while others find their way into the arm and leg holes of my shirt and pants, respectively. Once a fly got trapped between my sunglasses and my eyeball.

I only bring it up because I vowed a couple of weeks ago to never wear the shirt again (after a harrowing incident where a wasp flew down the neck hole and I nearly crashed trying to get it out) but today I was clean out of clean shirts and it was either the bug magnet or no shirt at all. So I’m looking forward to an eventful ride home from work.

Speaking of, I quit my job and L and I are moving to Los Angeles in two weeks.
