  1. If you like The (obiously the British version, as if liking the American version is a option) Office you should defo also check out Ricky Gervais’ Extras. Awesome show too!

  3. meme responsibilites fulfilled!

thoughts on the ricky gervais podcast? i’ve been known to laugh out loud at times in inopportune places (e.g. the streetcar, work).

  4. Okay, Extras is in my Netflix queue (it’s not released yet, I guess, and I don’t get the BBC channel) and I’m subscribing to the Ricky Gervais podcast. I’ve yet to really get into the whole “podcasting” thing, but I’ll try it out. Thanks, all.

  5. The podcast is hysterical. I can’t listen to it when I walk around the campus, because I laugh way too much. And nobody likes a guy laughing in public.

  6. I am guessing the lake in Maine is called: Pequawket Lake. Unless you’ve vacationed at other lakes in Maine on other occasions. Which might explain why you can’t remember all those lake names.

  7. Extras was on HBO.

    Comment by Jim Renaud — February 7, 2006 @ 2:29 pm

  8. Oh, HBO. Yeah, I don’t get that. I guess I’ll have to wait for the DVD. And yes! It was Pequawket Lake. I like that place.

  9. Man, these podcasts are hilarious. Does anyone know where I can get the earlier ones? They’re only hosting the last four or so.

  10. aren’t back episodes of the podcasts available through iTunes?

karl pilkington’s diary forces me to stifle giggles so that i don’t look like a crazy person. sheer stream-of-consciousness brilliance.

  11. Pierce doesn’t use iTunes. He’s a rebel, Dottie. A loner. You don’t want to get mixed up with a guy like him. There are things about him you wouldn’t understand. Things you couldn’t understand. Things…you shouldn’t understand.

  12. Stop trying to change me.

I just opened up iTunes for 5 minutes and got a headache. I can’t do it.

I am tracking them down, by and by. They’re all seem to be still there if you can find the direct links. How crazy is that? Leave the files there but give no links to them. Sheesh.

    Comment by Pierce — February 10, 2006 @ 3:51 am

  13. Well, I just checked iTunes and they only have the last four episodes as well. So if you find those links, do share. Pretty please.

  14. There’s Four,
    Five and Six.

I think they’ve taken down 1,2 and 3. I had to get them using Limewire.

    Comment by Pierce — February 10, 2006 @ 7:47 am

  15. Sweet! Thanks Pierce. And thank you the BBC for not following any kind of logical file-naming system!

  16. did you call me dottie? that’d be a new one.

  17. You know: Dottie!

  18. have you seen ‘les poupées russes’? it’s sort of a follow-up to ‘l’aubergue espagnole’, and imho, better. :)

  19. Oh my gosh thanks tozé! I’ve never even heard of it. It looks like it’s kind of hard to find in the US, but I ordered a copy here.
